For the 2025 calendar year, if you are an Illinois residents, Unicorn Auctions will issue 1099-K forms to anyone who meets the following criteria:
- 4 Transactions (1 Transaction = 1 Auction)
- $1,000 in total sales during calendar year of 2025
How will I receive my 1099-K Form?
You will receive your 1099-K Form via email and a letter in the mail in early 2026.
How does Unicorn Auctions protect my personal data?
We collect tax information through a secure DocuSign form using AES 256-bit encryption—one of the most secure standards available. Once submitted, your data is uploaded directly into our IRS filing system. After submission, your personal data is purged from our system to eliminate any potential risk.
I'm an international seller without a U.S. Tax ID. What should I do?
