How to Sell with Unicorn Auctions

📝 Step 1: Submit Your Bottles for Review

Start by filling out our Consignment Seller’s Form:

• List each bottle you'd like to consign
  
  
• Include label details and clear photos (front and back if possible)
  
  
• Our team will review and respond with estimated auction placement and pricing guidance
  
  

📦 Step 2: Ship or Drop Off Your Bottles

Once accepted, you'll receive shipping instructions or be scheduled for a drop-off at our Chicago warehouse.

You can:

• Ship your bottles using your own carrier (If more guidance is needed, please email consignment@unicornauctions.com)
  
  • *Do not ship bottles to us without proper communication and documentation in place
• Drop off in person (by appointment only)
  
  

Bottles must arrive in good condition and be approved upon inspection. Unicorn reserves the right to reject any bottle that does not meet our standards for sale. Please navigate to our Selling Guidelines for additional information.

📋 Step 3: Sign the Consignment Agreement

Before your bottles are listed, we’ll send you a Consignment Agreement to:

• Confirm your seller details
  
  
• Approve terms and timelines
  
  
• Provide your tax information (for 1099 processing, if applicable)
  
  

🔨 Step 4: Auction Goes Live

Your bottles will be listed in our next available auction. Auctions typically run for 7 days and are promoted to thousands of verified buyers.

During the auction, you can:

• Track bidding activity
  
  
• View your listings in the seller dashboard
  
  

💰 Step 5: Get Paid

Within 8 business days after the auction closes (Usually by the 2nd Wednesday):

• Your payout will be sent to the ACH account you provided in your Stripe Connect Account
  
  
• After sending it can take up to two business days for those funds to appear in your account.

Once confirmed, payments are processed within 2–4 business days
Checks may take longer depending on USPS delivery times.
