Our shipping process

Learn more about when you will receive your order

We ship orders approximately 14 days after payment or request for shipping is received. Within 5 business days following the end of an auction, you will receive an email with a link to pay your invoice and select shipping, storage, or local pick-up in the payment portal. If you have not received an invoice, be sure to check your junk or spam folder.

If 5 business days have passed, contact Customer Support to set up your preferred delivery method through live chat by clicking on the widget in the lower right hand corner of the screen, or email customerservice@unicornauctions.com. 

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email notification or text with a tracking number from tracking@shipstation.com or dontreply@weshipexpress.com

If you ordered wine, your order may take longer to ensure it doesn’t spoil from outside temperatures. In this case, we will contact you.

You can check the email with tracking information provided from WeShipExpress or ShipStation to see where your order is in the fulfillment process and its current expected, or scheduled, delivery date. 

 

Shipping costs and courier information

Your order will ship from WeShipExpress or ShipStation through UPS or FedEx, depending on the state. If you are located in Utah, Mississippi, or outside of the US, we will contact you to provide instructions on prepaid shipping labels or setting up shipping to another location.

Our orders are shipped using quality materials, including double-walled packaging, custom bottle neck wrappings, and air cushions to prevent breakage. Once shipped, our orders require a mandatory signature of someone 21+ to complete delivery.

  • 1-5 bottles - $25/bottle
  • 6+ bottles - $20/bottle

  • 1 bottle: $30
  • 2 Bottles: $17/bottle
  • 3 Bottles: $14/bottle
  • 4 bottles: $12 bottle
  • 5 Bottles: $10/bottle
  • 6 or more: $8/bottle

Can you ship internationally?

Shipping can be set up through Customer Support for international purchases. While we will ship your order within 14 business days, delivery may be delayed by duties or customs, depending on your country.

My bottle leaked during transit. How do I file a claim? 

We do our best to ensure a safe and secure delivery, but cannot guarantee protection against leakage during transit. If the seal is not broken but has resulted in minimal leakage, the bottle can still be opened and enjoyed.

You can send a photo of the bottle to customerservice@unicornauctions.com for review and further assistance.

 

My bottle was broken or damaged during transit. Can I receive a replacement?

To ensure that your purchase is covered in case of breakage or damage, we recommend purchasing Breakage Insurance. This will ensure a full refund if the bottle breaks during transit.

Breakage Insurance only covers complete breakage of a bottle and does not cover lost packages, leaks, cracks, chips, stains, etc. that may occur during transit. We cannot guarantee a full refund for bottle breakage without insurance.

Our bottle inventory is based on consignment. We cannot guarantee a replacement of the exact same bottle, but we will provide links to similar lot listings for your bidding.
